Philip is a Queensland University of Technology graduate (2004) with a Bachelors Degree of Health Science (Podiatry). Phil is the owner and managing director of Pioneer Podiatry. Phil has a wealth of experience in treating foot and leg pain, and consults at both our Mackay and Sarina flagship clinics, as well as running specialist outreach clinics in Bowen, Collinsville, Moranbah, Clermont, Dysart, and Middlemount. His specialty and passion is the diagnosis and treatment of complex foot and leg injuries, and he is skilled in advanced diagnostic techniques such as slow motion video gait analysis, and 3D modelling for custom orthotic therapy. Phil also specialises in the surgical treatment of nail disorders, including permanent surgical cures for ingrowing toenails (partial nail avulsion with matrix phenolisation).
As a long term resident of the Mackay region, Philip enjoys the beautiful climate and environment of this area, and he enjoys being active.
