Julie graduated from Curtin University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Podiatry.
Julie has extensive experience in both public and private practice podiatry and in rural and remote areas.
Originally a country person from the Goldfields, Julie had the only private practice in Kalgoorlie/ Boulder for 10 years.
She also ran the high risk foot clinic at Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital which treated both inpatients and outpatients.
She also provided podiatry services through the Community Health Centre and established the podiatry clinic at the Aboriginal Medical Centre ( Bega Garnbirringu). She also provided podiatry services with the visiting Ophthalmologist and Urologist to Indigenous clients locally and from the lands.
She was also involved with various sporting clubs and provided education and training sessions to other allied health professionals.
