Carlo Jacobs-Bloom is a Clinical Psychologist with a Masters degree and a First Class Honours degree. Carlo has expertise in psychometric testing of children/adolescents and adults presenting with giftedness, learning difficulties, ADHD, and attention/memory problems. Carlo also has a particular interest and experience in trauma and trauma-related conditions (e.g., grief/adjustment, anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, health related issues (eg chronic pain), eating, substance misuse/other addictive behaviours. Carlo has completed Advanced level training in EMDR and Schema Therapy, both of which are evidence-based treatments for trauma. Carlo's therapeutic approach is based on a relationship of collaboration, trust, humour, and draws on individual strengths. Services not provided: Compensation matters or medico-legal / forensic reports. Carlo only sees adults for psychological therapy.
