I've been working as a Psychologist since 2001. I have experience working with adults, families, children and teenagers. Working in a country setting I've had the chance to work with a broad range of difficulties including: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma reactions, difficulties associated with childhood abuse and neglect and addiction. I have a particular interest in working with Anxiety and with what are called Personality Disorders (life long struggles with relationships, self-worth and emotional difficulties associated with difficult childhood circumstances).
I have been trained in a range of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. However, I am also strongly guided by Attachment Theory.
