I have worked as a School Counsellor for ten years and in private practice for 5 of those. My approach is practical, yet dynamic and engaging. I am trained in both CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) and combine these approaches depending on the person and presenting issues. I work with adolescents (from high school age), adults and families. I help you manage issues relating to depression, motivation, purpose and career, anxiety, relationship difficulties and family communication. I am also experienced in understanding issues relating to technology use/overuse and abuse - from gaming 'addiction' and dependency, limit setting and digital device use guidelines and social media excessive/obsessive use and related mental health issues.
