Karen graduated from the Australian Catholic University Melbourne in 2004 with a Bachelor of Psychology and Post Graduate Diploma of Psychology. Since full registration as a general psychologist Karen has gained experience working in Victoria and Queensland in the fields of educational psychology, public mental health (acute and continued care) as well as private practice.
With a broad range of clinical experience, Karen’s therapeutic orientations draw on empirically valid techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Positive Psychology, Coaching, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and motivational interviewing techniques. Therapy is tailored to the individual and their unique presenting problem in a collaborative and transparent manner.
