Helen has extensive experience with assisting clients to manage a range of life challenges which can impact mental health in order to live with the greatest ease and sense of fulfilment. With a warm and caring approach, Helen encourages clients to bring compassion to their own needs, enhance self-awareness, and benefit from a range of psychological strategies to help resolve concerns. Helen incorporates principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, with a particular focus on helping clients to develop greater self-kindness, as they build more resilience to deal with difficulties in their lives. Helen treats clients struggling with a range of needs, focusing on anxiety, stress, pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum.
Helen is available Monday and Tuesdays and works with individuals, adult, adolescents (14 to 19) group and elders (65+) through one-on-one therapy.
