My name is Rebecca Sheehy and I am a Psychologist specialising in Clinical and Occupational Psychology working in Brisbane, Australia. I have a special interest in working with people who experience stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, low motivation, irregular eating patterns, interpersonal conflict or relationship problems, loss or grief and work-related stress.
I strongly believe that each person has an important story to tell, which is to be heard, validated and explored. I understand how emotionally painful and stressful it may be, for individuals to disclose such emotions or experiences, that they have endured. With this in mind, I tailor therapy to fit individual circumstances at a pace that suits them. I place importance on providing a safe and supportive environment for people to reflect and share their life experiences with me, to identify their strengths and challenges and to assist them in creating positive life changes.
