My aim in working with clients is to help them build a sense of hopefulness, motivation, and understanding of their concerns. Together we work towards a life that feels more settled and at ease. After conducting a holistic assessment, I establish a treatment plan with my clients that incorporates evidence based therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Schema therapy and Dialectical Behaviour therapy (DBT), amongst others. I finished my undergraduate studies in 2010 at the University of Western Australia. Six years ago my clinical experience began and I completed a Master of Psychology (Clinical) in 2012 at Curtin University. I’ve worked in public mental health and private practice and have enjoyed working with varied client concerns including:
Insomnia
mood disorders (depression, bipolar)
anxiety (generalised anxiety, social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias)
trauma-related concerns
psychotic phenomena
