Lorena Cavalieri is an Italian Psychologist and Psychotherapist, is a member of APS (Australian Psychological Society) and AAFT (Australian Association of Family Therapy). Lorena has over twenty years experience working with in Family Psychotherapy. As Clinical Psychologist and Family Therapist, she had a long experience in Clinical Practice in individual, couple and family therapy.
In Italy she has been employed as Psychologist in different public Institutions: Mental Health Service, Psychiatric Rehabilitation, and Therapy Services for Drug Addicts. She also has a multicultural experience as a clinical Psychologist and family therapist running clinical and counselling activities with immigrants and refugees.
She is experienced in working with depression and anxiety (and other mood disorders), relationship and attachment issues (marriage, parenting & difficulties from childhood), abuse and trauma (past & present), grief and loss, pain management and illness, and stress management.
