Trained remedial-sports-injury specific massage therapist, practicing since 2008. Specialising in postural analysis, soft tissue bodywork and body biomechanics.
Since 2001, has worked in injury rehabilitation for specific populations; conditioning and strengthening field as a personal trainer and coach. Working along side with Spinal Synergy Physiotherapists and is still training and working professionally alone side of other health practitioners such as chiropractors, osteopaths and exercise physiologists.
Own exercise background in a wide area of sport has helped Irena find unique combination of awareness and understanding of the body biomechanics.
Trained in various soft tissue modalities, such as Integrative Fascial Release, and Trigger Point Therapy and Facilitated Stretching.
At the present Irena is working on Nutritional Medicine degree to further understand body’s needs and healing systems, to provide her clients with deeper holistic approach and understanding.
