Shahnee graduated in 2017 with an advanced Diploma of Myotherapy from the Australian college of Sports Therapy and is now at our Taylors Lakes Clinic.
Throughout her time studying Shahnee also gained experience working one-on-one with the players and fellow health practitioners closely on and off the field with the Williamstown Football Club in the VFL and Melton Centrals Football and Netball Club in the RDFL. During her studies she gained knowledge in deep tissue and sports massage, cupping, trigger point therapy and dry needling.
Shahnee is able to match a technique to the situation which puts her client at ease and comfort, allowing her to acheive the desired outcome and progress the therapy to full movements pain-free. This provides the client with a strong understanding about posture, injury prevention techniques and basic rehabilitation to create a holistic approach to health and lifestyle.
Shahnee has also done volunteer work at the Melbourne Marathon and Ironman Triathlon.
