Remedial massage therapist Elena brings to Bodysmart over 12 years of remedial massage therapy experience. Elena has a special interest in the treatment of neck, shoulder and back pain in office workers. Elena also enjoys helping clients with reducing stress related tension, lymphatic drainage, sports and with pregnancy related massage.
Elena has worked also with people with conditions such as Parkinson’s, Motor-Neuron and Multiple Sclerosis, and Fibromyalgia, which has brought about further learning in how to deal with pain management, more effectively with certain conditions.
Elena commonly uses a range of Remedial Massage Techniques, Soft and Deep Tissue, Trigger point therapy, Acupressure, Postural care, Relaxation and Myofascial Release.
Elena is also trained in the Alexander Technique, since 1998 (and is a teacher in this technique), Reflexology – hand and feet, Bowen, Pranic healing and Aromatherapy.
