Dr Sam Kim is a highly attentive clinician who has over two decades of broad clinical experience in General and Subspecialty Medicine with Accreditation in Adult Respiratory and Sleep Medicine. He is highly skilled in solving complex diagnostic issues. His expertise include interventional pulmonology such as bronchial thermoplasty (BT) for severe asthma, airway stenting and endoscopic lung volume reduction (ELVR) in severe emphysema.
His research interests include population epidemiology of chronic disease on human health and well-being, rehabilitation of chronic lung disease and neurocognitive aspects of impaired sleep rhythm which affects people worldwide.
Dr Kim graduated from the University of Queensland in 1994. He qualified for FRACP in 2003 and completed additional training through Master of Public Health in 2014 and MBA in 2015 from the University of Newcastle, Master of Sleep Medicine from the University of Sydney in 2016 and currently studying at Deakin Law School.
