Karen Ip is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and a practising member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Karen graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) in 2007. She initially worked at a private practice in Sydney at where she provided assessments and therapy to children and adults with communication difficulties. She also provided assessments and treatments to elderly with swallowing difficulties at a few nursing homes.
After relocating to Canberra, she worked in a variety of settings including Queanbeyan Community Health Centre, Queanbeyan District Hospital, Queanbeyan Children’s Special Needs Group (QCSNG), Queanbeyan South Public School and Therapy ACT. She also had experience providing speech pathology services in rural towns such as Bungendore and Braidwood.
