Joy Kassouf has had almost 20 years’ experience working with toddlers, children and young people with communication, developmental and learning difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental delay. She has worked both in private practice and in health and education departments to provide individual assessment and treatment services, develop communication programs for individuals and provide training to families and other professionals. Joy speaks Arabic and has a keen interest in the area of communication and its link to culture and disability. She is currently a certified practicing speech pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
