Special interest in childhood unintelligible/complex speech/CAS
- articulation, speech planning difficulties - provide assessment, intervention, reporting for childhood speech and intelligibility difficulty.Services include language/literacy guidance and intervention. Particular interest in children’s complex and unintelligible speech difficulties, especially childhood apraxia of speech (CAS).Certified with Speech Pathology Australia since 2012. Prior this Sonja worked at the specialist Nuffield Hearing and Speech Centre in London under Dr Pam Williams (editor of the recent editions of the gold standard Nuffield Centre Dyspraxia Programme). Original studies were in South Africa with work experience gained across various contexts.
Sonja loves to work with children, engaging themselves in their own speech journey.Sonja works from her home office base, at your home or school or place of care.
