Philip is a consultant urologist at Monash Health, Melbourne, Victoria in Australia. He is the senior urologist at Casey Hospital, the rapidly expanding facility located in Berwick, and a senior lecturer at Monash University. Philip also provides regular services to rural Victoria, with clinics in Drouin and Sale and operating lists at Central Gippsland hospital in Sale. He has private operating rights at St John of God Hospital in Berwick and The Valley Private Hospital in Mulgrave.
Philip is an innovative stone surgeon who has developed techniques to remove large kidney stones and has demonstrated these in both practical workshops and formal presentations throughout the world. He has published and presented widely and leads an annual surgical trip to Tonga with the Pacific Island Program of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS).
In 2018 Philip took up the prestigious role of Clinical Director of the Victorian Audit of Surgical Mortality at RACS.
