Adam Hjort holds a bachelor degree of Health Science in Acupuncture and is a registered practitioner with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (APRHA). Adam’s enthusiasm to seek comprehensive training in acupuncture led him to undertake a series of apprenticeships lasting more than six years. Apprenticeship-based training, although not required in Australia, has been the traditional standard of schooling for centuries throughout Asia. Currently, Adam has been working as an acupuncturist for many years, and during that time founded his own clinic, the Traditional Acupuncture Clinic. With a passion for Traditional East Asian Medicine and an enjoyment for skill based work, Adam has devoted himself to providing quality treatments using acupuncture, moxibustion and massage. His attentive nature and interest in his patients also drives his desire to see all receive compassionate care and positive outcomes.
