George was born in Brisbane in 1970 after his parents immigrated from the Greek Islands. He grew up in Mt Gravatt and graduated Dux of Mt Gravatt High School in 1987. Following this he graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1994.
Dr George Coumbis has 27 years of private practice experience in Australia, including running a busy and successful practice at Sherwood. He has joined Mt Gravatt Dental in 2021 and is very happy to return to his old stomping grounds. George enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. He has a keen interest in surgical extractions including wisdom teeth, root canal treatment, crown and bridge work, and full and partial dentures. George will be as gentle as possible and provide treatment in a calm environment. Your long-term dental health needs will be looked after in a cost-effective manner. Attention to detail will be a priority and the work will not be rushed. Treatment and cost will be explained up front.
