Sonya is a leading Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist with over 30 years of experience. She is the founder of Dietwise Nutrition Clinics, one of Perth’s premium nutrition clinics and is former Head of Dietetics and Nutrition at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. She is a guest lecturer at universities including Curtin and Notre Dame and has consulted widely with the corporate sector including BHP, DÔME and RAC.
Sonya’s mission is to help her clients optimise health and wellbeing by harnessing the power of nutrition as a first step towards self-care. She believes tuning back into the body’s inner wisdom is the key to truly nourish the body and unlock the secret to discovering food and body peace. She has a special interest in eating disorders, disordered eating, gut issues and weight concerns. She is a mum of 4 boys and her Italian heritage explains her passion to use food not only as medicine but as a means to feed, fuel, repair, renourish, connect and bring joy.
