Nik Ding is an Australian-trained gastroenterologist with a PhD at Imperial College in London in personalising therapy with a wholistic approach. He is internationally regarded in the field of inflammatory bowel disease with expertise in explaining how the gut bacteria interacts with health and disease. He specialises in treating luminal gastrointestinal disorders such as inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and coeliac disease amongst others. He has a wide range of interest including liver disease and endoscopy. John is a committee member for the Australian IBD Association and the European Crohn's and Colitis Organisation. He is the Head of IBD Clinical trials Unit and lead for National Bowel Cancer Screening Program at St Vincent's Hospital.
