Ilan has been practising optometry for the past 28 years. He graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1990 with Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Optometry (Honours) degrees. Ilan practised optometry on the Central Coast for 13 years before moving to Drummoyne, where he has built an outstanding reputation as an independent optometrist and is focussed on customer care and exceptional service. Ilan believes that being an independent optometrist allows him to focus on his customers specific visual requirements. Ilan undertakes continuous education in the form of conferences and lectures to keep up to date with the latest techniques. Ilan has a special interest in contact lenses, management of eye diseases and tailor made solutions for individual eyesight requirements.
