Peter has enjoyed a successful career drawing on his academic qualifications gained in Psychology. Believing that psychological intervention can provide life changing strategies that can dramatically improve a person’s quality of life and relationships, he has four principles that guide his interaction with clients. Psychoeducation. Give people insight into the nature and cause (psychoeducation) of their issue including neuropsychological factors. Insight. Provide people with a safe place for them to explore their own thoughts and feelings. Planning. Develop a collaborative plan so clients have some structure to follow. Monitor, evaluate and modify if required. Tools. Provide psychological tools for use in everyday situations. Peter has completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Sciences, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology and a Masters in Business. He also completed several specialty courses including Trauma Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
