Dr Christine Burdeniuk is consulting from Magnolia Specialist Centre from May 2018. Dr Burdeniuk believes it is important to focus on the early detection of cardiac disease. By working with patients and their General Practitioners to control modifiable risk factors such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol, the development of coronary artery disease and heart failure can be prevented, in many cases. She is passionate about Advanced Heart Failure, Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension and Cardiac Transplantation management.
In 2017, Dr Burdeniuk was awarded CPMEC SA Clinical Educator of the year for her work with junior doctors. She is frequently involved in delivering education to GPs and other specialists on a variety of cardiac topics including heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, cardiac transplantatio, atrial fibrillation and more.
