Dr Louis Wang is an experienced clinical cardiologist and a staff specialist in Vascular Medicine. He is the current Director of Physician Education (DPE) at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. He also works as a consultant cardiologist and general physician at Sydney Hospital. Dr Wang graduated from the University of New South Wales with the University Medal in Medicine and first class honours, and has a PhD for pioneering research in high frequency echocardiography.

Cardiovascular Medicine, Heart Failure, Echocardiography, Venous thromboembolism.
Research Supervision:
Dr Wang enjoys teaching and supporting the professional development of medical students, junior medical officers and registrars. An educational leader at the St Vincent’s Hospital campus, he has successfully implemented the delivery of blended (online & face-to-face) teaching programs for medical registrars.
