Dr Cheng He is a Cardiothoracic (Heart and Lung) Surgeon offering specialist surgical care on the Gold Coast. He is a graduate of the University of Melbourne Medical School.
Dr He completed cardiothoracic surgical training at a number of major hospitals across Australia, including The Prince Charles Hospital and The Alfred Hospital. Dr He was awarded Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He further completed post-fellowship training at St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne.
Dr He’s surgical practice involves all aspects of cardiac and thoracic surgery, with a particular focus on total arterial coronary revascularisation (CABG) and minimally-invasive lung surgery. He is a staff specialist consultant cardiothoracic surgeon at the Gold Coast University Hospital and holds operating privileges at the Gold Coast Private Hospital.
