Simon is a qualified and experienced Chinese Medicine Practitioner, who treats a variety of common (and not-so-common) health concerns using acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and related therapies. He has a gentle, friendly manner, and asks a lot of questions to try to get to the root of the problem.
Simon mainly uses distal acupuncture (points on the arms and legs), as he finds this to be more effective, especially for pain conditions. Depending on your individual condition, this may be combined with a customised herbal medicine prescription, or perhaps a physical therapy such as Gua Sha massage or cupping. A priority at all times is client comfort and all parts of the treatment are clearly explained before commencing.
Most often, acute problems may take 4-6 sessions before satisfactory resolution, whereas chronic and deep-seated conditions may take longer. Frequently treated conditions include stress/anxiety/depression, sleep problems, muscular stiffness/pain/injury & allergies.
