General and cosmetic dental services Dr Dunia Draca is our only female general and cosmetic dentist. She is a twice over graduate from the University of Sydney, holding a Bachelor of Medical Science (2011) and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (2017). Prior to joining our practice, Dr Draca had an interesting and unusual past. Her first two years practicing dentistry were spent in a small country clinic in rural NSW, where she greatly enjoyed learning everything about general dentistry. She then undertook a grand adventure of travelling all around Australia as a “fly-in fly-out” dentist for small regional and remote towns without a regular dentist, often changing locations every two weeks. Dr Draca frequently worked with Aboriginal patients, provided complex and extensive emergency dental care, and often had patients drive hours to see her. Her most memorable location was Alice Springs, NT, where she was one of only a handful of female dentists on the stretch between Adelaide and Darwin.
