Dr Isabel enjoys all fields of general dentistry with a special interest in oral surgery, sedation dentistry, TMD management and special needs dentistry. Continuing education is a top priority for Dr Isabel who is currently undertaking postgraduate studies at the University of Sydney in orofacial pain and is undertaking research in the incidence of immunotherapy-induced of oral mucositis. Dr Isabel is also an active member of the Australian Dental Association Recent Graduates Commitee to develop courses and events to assist new graduates transition to professional practice.
As a strong advocate of oral health promotion, Dr Isabel created the Ngalgarra Yinggirra 'Bright Smile' program for primary school students and works with multiple organisations to promote oral health including: the Colgate Advocates for Oral Health; the Indigenous Dental Association; and an expert advisory group for the Australian Dental Association.
