Dr. Draper studied dentistry at the University of Queensland, graduating in 1996. After that he worked as a Dental Officer for the Royal Australian Air Force, leaving in 2015. In that time he was the Senior Dental Officer at a number of military locations across Australia.
He has since become a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons by examination, and has also completed a Master of Public Health at the University of Queensland. He has previously been a clinical demonstrator at the University of Queensland, University of Sydney and Griffith University Dental Schools. He has previously served two terms on the Australian Dental Association (Federal) Infection Control Committee.
He has a personal interest in helping manage patients who are anxious about dental treatment, patients with high dental decay rates, managing patients with complex health histories, treating periodontal disease, and performing minor oral surgery.
