Dr Terence Yuen is the principal dentist and co-founder of Village Dental & Implant Centre alongside Dr Andrew Kow. Dr Yuen initially completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide, before going on to become a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. In addition to his role as a general dentist, Dr Yuen is a senior dental consultant to the Australian Craniofacial Unit of the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Women's and Children's Hospitals. He holds a keen interest in minor oral surgery and implant dentistry, and regularly travels to Sydney to perform implant surgery. Dr Yuen additionally spends time mentoring other dentists in the field of implant dentistry. Dr Yuen's passion for providing quality dental care saw him establish the Lions East Timor Dental Project in 2001 where he travels twice a year to East Timor, providing free dental treatment to local communities in need.
