I am a General surgeon with a special interest in "Hepato-pancreatico-biliary oncology" (cancer of liver, pancreas and gallbladder). Outside of cancer, I manage common surgical conditions like hernias and gallstone problems.
I'm a graduate of the University of Queensland where I obtained a BSc, Masters and medical degree. I trained across Australia in surgery before going to Canada for further training in liver transplant and cancer surgery.
I have a special interest in minimally invasive pancreatic surgery with a broad experience of laparoscopic surgery and developing robotic surgery performing some of the first robot pancreas operations in Australia.
I'm active in teaching medical students and trainees, and maintain a strong interest in clinical and translational research. I work in both the private and public sectors in Brisbane.
