Dr Pradeep Subramanian is a Specialist General and Laparoscopic Surgeon with a special interest in the holistic/comprehensive management of hernias in particular, complex abdominal mesh hernias. He has over 18 years of surgical experience in general surgical elective and emergency surgery. He is also GESA credentialed to perform Upper GI Endoscopy and colonoscopy.
He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine in 2001 from India and trained in General Surgery in India and Australia between 2002 and 2016. He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of surgeons in General Surgery after completing his training in Perth Western Australia in 2017. He joined his wife who is a Staff Pathologist at the Base Hospital in Toowoomba with a full time appointment as Staff Specialist General Surgeon from February 2017. He is credentialed at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital and Toowoomba Surgicentre.
