Dr Mathew A. Kozman is an Australian-trained Colorectal and General Surgeon appointed at both Lyell McEwin and Modbury Public Hospitals. Dr Kozman specialises in minimally invasive surgery for colorectal and general surgical conditions.
Dr Kozman has achieved a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and a Masters of Surgery with Dissertation in Colorectal Surgery (MS) from University of Sydney. Furthermore, his PhD candidature through the University of New South Wales focusses on management of advanced colorectal cancer.
After completing his general surgical training and achieving his Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in General Surgery, he completed an additional 3 years of sub-specialty training in Colorectal Surgery at Lyell McEwin Hospital (Adelaide), North Shore Hospital (Auckland, NZ) and Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital (Sydney) to achieve membership with the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ)
