After a Bachelor of Science, and then working in IT for many years, Chris decided it was time for a change and elected to study for a degree in Naturopathy. He continued on to complete first class honours.
Chris then worked for the Centre for Phytochemistry and Pharmacology at Southern Cross University. In 2010 he moved to Tasmania to join Goulds Naturopathica as an intern for six months. At the end of the internship, he was offered ongoing employment and jumped at the chance of joining the team.
Chris spends half his working time out at the organic farm helping create tinctures, and the rest of his working time in Goulds Natural Medicine assisting with an astonishingly wide variety of topics. He has a keen interest in how naturopathy can assist in sports performance and health concerns such as pain, inflammation and exhaustion. He also co-authored a book on treatments for acne, and is interested in the treatment of conditions relating to poor blood sugar control.
