Dr Tapuwa Musuka is a neurologist and stroke physician. He maintains a keen interest in all aspects of general neurology and has a particular interest in stroke, headache and neuro-oncology.
Tapuwa completed his specialist neurology training at Sir Charles Gairdner, Royal Perth and Fremantle Hospitals. Following this, he completed a stroke fellowship with the Calgary Stroke Program based at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Canada, an institute renowned for stroke research and development of pioneering acute stroke treatments. He returned to Perth in 2014 and has worked as a consultant neurologist. Currently, he has public appointments at Fiona Stanley Hospital. He also provides a comprehensive in-patient consultative service at St John of God Hospital Murdoch as well as seeing private patients in his rooms at the Wexford Medical Centre, Murdoch.
Tapuwa is also actively involved with research and is an investigator in a number of clinical trials.
