Dr Carey is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in advanced laparoscopic surgery and general gynaecology. He holds a public appointment at Flinders Medical Centre in both the areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He has completed the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy at Flinders Medical Centre between 2019 and 2020. During this time, he has trained under A/Prof Robert O’Shea, A/Prof Elvis Šeman, Dr. Fariba Behnia-Willison Dr. Andrew Day and Dr. Monika Juneja. Dr Carey also has an interest in the management of vulvar disorders and has completed training with Dr. Jane Wood and A/Prof Gillian Marshman (Dermatologist) whilst completing his training.
