I graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2004. Having worked in Dubbo during preceptorship, I chose to return to the busy regional practice. It provided invaluable experience - full-scope eye care and the challenges of working in satellite clinics in more remote areas. I moved back closer to home, spending 9 years at an independent practice on the South Coast of NSW. During that time, I also took on further study to become therapeutically endorsed. I have now settled down on the Central Coast. I have chosen to work in independent practices throughout my career because it aligns with my personal values - professional excellence and freedom, and also being able to connect with each individual and the local community. Personal interests include health, nutrition, exercise, animal welfare and environmental conservation. These are also reflected in my work ethos.
