Mr Tzu-Hsuan Chang or better known as Shaun graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2008. He has continued to pursue further studies to deliver a high level of clinical care. In 2011 Shaun completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics at the University of Melbourne that allowed him to prescribe topical medication for a range of anterior eye diseases.
Shaun’s true passion lies in ‘Behavioural Optometry’, particularly visual perception. He believes a child’s understanding of their visual world is shaped by their development and wants to give strategies to help children do better at school. Shaun is currently completing a three year Fellowship program for the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrist.
Born in Taiwan, Shaun did his primary and high schooling in Auckland, New Zealand before moving to Australia. He loves the outdoors and enjoys trekking and has set up the 'Eyes4Everest' Team to build a refractive clinic for a rural hospital in Nepal
