Dr Matthew Broadhead is a Fellowship-trained Australian Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in the treatment of traumatic and degenerative disorders of the lower limb. He has special interest in minimally invasive direct anterior approach total hip replacement, knee replacement, joint preservation and ligament reconstruction. Matthew graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2006. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association (FAOrthA). He was awarded a Master of Surgery (ChM), University of Edinburgh, for studies on ACL reconstruction and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), University of Melbourne, for studies on bone and tumour biology.
