Kathryn graduated with a Masters in General Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland in 2010, after completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Natural Science and minoring in Business at Loyola Marymount University in California, USA, 2008.
Kathryn worked for 4 years at Cairns Hospital where she spent time practising in all different departments. Most recently, before switching to private practice, she spent extended time in Orthopaedics and Outpatients working with post-operative patients.
She spent 11 years rowing competitively, including rowing overseas for her university and brings this experience into her physiotherapy practise. Kathryn’s treatment philosophy is centred around enabling patients to reach their goals. She uses a combination of manual therapy, massage, dry needling and exercise based therapy to achieve this.
Kathryn has worked at Queanbeyan Physiotherapy Centre for 2 years, and in that time has aquired her DMA Clinical Pilates Certification.
