Alison graduated from Curtin University School of Physiotherapy in 2000, and very early in her career developed an interest in, and passion for, the field of women's health physiotherapy; further postgraduate study extended Alison's interest to working with men (particularly post-prostatectomy incontinence and pelvic pain) and children with bladder and bowel dysfunction. After several years as a senior physiotherapist in continence and women's health in a private maternity hospital, Alison decided to move her work closer to her home in Perth Hills, and founded Hillview Women's and Men's Health Physiotherapy. Following the birth of her children in 2012 & 2015, Alison now works alongside other postgraduate continence and women's health physiotherapists at Hillview. Alison is an active member of the APA Women's, Men's and Pelvic Health Group, CFA, ICS, ICCS and GAIN. Alison is also a sessional academic lecturer on the Curtin Master of Clinical Physiotherapy Program.
