Ms Simone Muscat
Simone Muscat
Alphington Sports Medicine Clinic, 339 Heidelberg Road, Northcote, VIC 3070
Simone's keen interest in the biomechanics of the body and sporting injuries, especially those of the hip and knee, has lead her to pursue a career as a Physiotherapist. Her strong background in treatment of long standing injuries through Clinical Pilates and Gym based strengthening has resulted in many patients being able to regain normal function and return to their pre-injury activities. Along with sporting injuries, Simone's interest in cervicogenic headaches; in particular those related to the TMJ has given her the opportunity to undertake extensive qualifications in dry needling to the face and jaw. Her expertise has lead to many appointments within the community and multiple sporting teams including the Australian and Victorian Mens Masters Hockey Teams, TAC Western Jets, WRFL Altona Vikings, Werribee VFL Tigers and the Great Victorian Bike Ride. Simone is currently completing her postgraduate studies in Sports Physiotherapy.
