Chris completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (with Distinction) from the University of Otago in 2008. Prior to joining the Berwick/Pakenham Lakeside Physiotherapy team in 2011, Chris worked in private practice in New Zealand specialising in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy.
Chris also holds both a Bachelor and a Masters degree in Anatomy and has taught Anatomy to a wide range of undergraduate health science students. He was also actively involved in research resulting in the publication of papers in both Anatomy and Physiotherapy which have been presented at conferences internationally.
Chris has a particular interest in acute musculoskeletal/sports injuries, especially those involving the spine or lower limbs. His post-graduate studies include courses in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (including manipulation/manual therapy, dry needling and clinical pilates).
