Emma is a Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist that has completed further post-graduate studies in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland. Emma has a strong interest in the assessment and management of people presenting with complex musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction; with a particular focus on load optimisation and biomechanical correction to maximize outcomes and prevention. In addition, Emma also recognises the importance to treat the individual holistically and to integrate the biopsychosocial model to an individuals’ management and care. Emma is passionate about improving the quality of peoples’ lives by empowering them with the knowledge and skills to maintain movement. Her approach is based on a partnership that empowers the individual to understand their condition and by providing self-management strategies to provide long-lasting results that will surpass the treatment room.
