Catherine has a love and appreciation for all things movement. Studying all types of dance from a young age, she specialised with full-time training in contemporary, ballet and choreography. Her time in dance (and associated dance injuries) intuitively led to a practice of Yoga and Pilates, first as a student then as a teacher. One of the driving forces throughout her years of teaching has been the process of helping clients explore movement in the best way for their body.
As a physiotherapist, she strives to find the underlying cause of restriction or pain, working with her clients to get them back to what they love to do! Catherine is excited by the concept of mindful movement, where thought and decision making around how your body moves leads to happier movement (therefore leading to more movement!). Understanding that every body and every goal is different, Catherine will work with you to discover and implement changes that allow you to achieve your goal.
