As a gymnast from a young age, Talia grew up with an interest in movement and the way the human body works. This lead her to study massage and myotherapy, and later, physiotherapy, graduating with a Masters of Physiotherapy from Flinders University in 2013.
As a massage therapist, Talia worked for 5 years in private practice, as well as in elite sports, gaining experience with both NRL and AFL football clubs.
In her years as a physiotherapist, Talia has worked in a variety of settings, including private musculoskeletal practice, elite and local sports, as well as in aged care.
