Kim graduated from the University of Otago Medical School in 1996. After graduating, she gained experience in all surgical specialities in New Zealand, before undertaking her Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Plastic Surgical training in Sydney between 2005 and 2008. A Fellowship in Melbourne then allowed Kim to focus on breast reconstruction & body surgery.
Kim is an active member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Kim has recently been appointed to the Council of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. The Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons Inc.
