Houda has experience in delivering a range of psychological assessments and therapeutic services across clinical, forensic, and developmental contexts. She has worked across both the public and private sectors with youth and adult clients experiencing a range of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, grief, among many other mental health and wellbeing issues.
Her main treatment techniques are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). In addition to providing individual therapy, Houda has been trained and has an interest in performing comprehensive forensic assessments, cognitive/educational assessments, and group work.
